Last Updated: July 17, 2026
Effective Date: July 17, 2026

1. Overview & Agreement of Terms

This Privacy Policy applies to Trunstor, a professional storage optimization and junk cleaning utility developed and operated by Trunstor Studio (“We”, “Us”, “Our”). Trunstor core capabilities include scanning app residual cache, uninstall leftover folders, duplicate photos, blurry redundant images, oversized videos and unused installation packages to sort media files and clear junk data to free up mobile storage space.

By downloading, installing, granting storage permissions, launching full storage scans and using all core scrub & clean functions of Trunstor, you confirm that you fully read, understand and voluntarily agree to all clauses of this Privacy Policy. If you disagree with any content herein, please cease all use of the App and uninstall it immediately.

This document complies with Google Play Developer Program Policies, Android MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE permission regulatory standards, CCPA/CPRA, COPPA, EU GDPR and cross-border global data protection laws for all regional users worldwide.

2. Sensitive Permission Full Disclosure & Functional Justification

Mandatory Sensitive Permission: MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE (All Files Access)

Trunstor does NOT request camera, microphone, location, contacts, SMS, call logs, calendar or any other unnecessary sensitive permissions during full operation.

2.1 Irreplaceable Functional Necessity

Android native Scoped Storage and MediaStore APIs only provide limited access to public camera media folders, and cannot access hidden app cache directories, residual uninstall folders, external SD media partitions, private download folders and deep hidden duplicate junk media. Without MANAGE_EXTERNAL_STORAGE full-file access authority, Trunstor cannot complete full-device deep junk scanning and lightweight scrubbing, which is the core exclusive function of this storage cleaner.

2.2 Strict Local Privacy Restrictions on File Access

3. Information We Collect

Trunstor only collects fully anonymous, non-identifiable technical data for App stability maintenance and cross-device compatibility optimization. No personally identifiable sensitive private information will be collected under any circumstances.

3.1 Automatically Collected Anonymous Technical Data

3.2 Voluntarily Submitted User Data

We may receive feedback texts, scanning fault descriptions and optional contact email addresses voluntarily submitted by users through the in-app support form, which are only used for technical troubleshooting and after-sales follow-up processing.

3.3 Data We Will Never Collect

Trunstor Studio will never collect real legal names, phone numbers, bank/credit card financial data, government identity documents, contact address books, real-time geographic location, biometric authentication data, private chat history or other confidential personal information of any kind.

4. Lawful Usage of Collected Anonymous Data

All anonymous technical data collected is processed under the lawful basis of legitimate business interest and contractual necessity to deliver core storage cleaning services. We will not reuse anonymous device metadata for unrelated commercial marketing without separate written affirmative opt-in consent submitted via official support channels.

Trunstor Studio will never sell, rent, trade, license or monetize your device metadata, scanned file metadata, anonymous diagnostic logs or voluntary support feedback to third-party advertising agencies, data broker platforms, marketing firms or commercial data aggregators for monetary profit.

5. Third-Party SDK Services

Trunstor only integrates official secure SDKs provided by Google LLC. All data shared with these third-party vendors is fully anonymized non-personal statistical data stripped of all user identity markers. All Google subsidiaries execute legally binding data protection agreements prohibiting unauthorized secondary disclosure or commercial resale of shared device metadata.

We may release aggregated anonymized device statistical data without additional user consent only when responding to valid formally issued court orders, official government regulatory data disclosure subpoenas, or when data disclosure is reasonably necessary to protect platform operational security, registered intellectual property rights, or the general personal data safety of all Trunstor end users.

6. Data Storage & Retention Rules

Trunstor does not enable automatic cloud synchronization or silent background upload of local device user files by default. All scanned file metadata information remains confined to your mobile hardware and will not be transmitted to remote external servers unless you voluntarily submit feedback content through the built-in in-app support form.

7. Data Security Protection Standards

We implement layered technical, administrative, and operational security safeguards consistent with global information security industry standards to shield anonymous device metadata and local scan cache records from unauthorized access, data leakage, malicious tampering, and permanent irreversible data loss:

No digital storage or internet transmission system can guarantee 100% absolute invulnerability to data security risks at all times. We strongly recommend all users enable secure screen lock passwords or biometric authentication for your mobile device hardware to prevent unauthorized physical third-party access to local private media gallery and document files stored on your device.
